Why Boxed Lemon?

We wanted to take a few minutes to give you all a little behind the scenes info on Boxed Lemon so you could get to know us. Mostly who we are and why we do what we do….

Over the past few years our family has grown and we have been fortunate to have 4 kids with all the fun, chaos and personality that comes with it. Our little peeps are all so expressive and imaginative - probably like so many of your families.

As they have gotten bigger they have each developed their own sense of style. And let me tell you - in our house as much as I would have liked that has not included dresses and tutus. With three wild boys and one cool girl, we ended up with more tigers, skateboards, and leaping from the furniture than I had envisioned.

And that is ok. Actually, it is more than ok - it’s why we started Boxed Lemon.

For our one girl amongst her brothers it was hard to find her style. So what do you do, as a mom that has a girl who can’t find what she needs? Well, you create a brand because in her wise words she says “mom, there are probably other kids like me.” So, that’s what we did. We started Boxed Lemon.

Grabbed all the imagination and creativity to create a brand that could bring confidence to kids (and adults!!) who want to express themselves. That’s why we are fanatical about supporting individuals because it can be hard when you are different or want to dress differently than what may be expected.

So we hope you love what we have created. Find your lemon and box it :)
